CNAME Records in Web Hosting
If you have a web hosting plan from our company and you would like to set up a CNAME record, it will take you only a few clicks to get it done. You can access the DNS records for all domains and subdomains hosted within your account via the Hepsia Control Panel included with every single plan and adding a new record is as easy as clicking on a button, selecting the type, which is CNAME in this case, typing the actual record value and saving the change. If you have never added this type of record before, you will discover a Help section with a detailed video tutorial that you can watch, or you can simply contact us and we'll aid you with this task. If you have set up a website using another provider, you want to use a private URL for your webmail or you want to designate a subdomain for use with the services of a different provider, for example Google Apps, all it takes is setting up a CNAME record with a couple of clicks within your CP.
CNAME Records in Semi-dedicated Servers
You are going to be able to set up, change and delete CNAME records very easy with any of our semi-dedicated server plans. The accounts are handled through the custom Hepsia hosting CP, and in one of its sections you'll see all records for any domain address or subdomain that you have added in your account. To set up a new record, you have to select the hostname that'll be forwarded (domain/subdomain), type where it will be forwarded to, choose the record type, that'll be CNAME in this case, and you'll be ready. Even if you haven't used a web hosting service before, our Control Panel is quite intuitive to use, so you'll not have any difficulties. We also have a short video and a detailed help article on how to set up a CNAME record, both of which are available in the exact same section of Hepsia. With this feature, you could easily use a domain address hosted on our innovative cloud hosting platform for a website created somewhere else, set up a custom webmail login address with any of your domain addresses, and much more.
