A: If your present web hosting provider can no longer fulfill the requirements of your web site, or if you undergo frequent downtime, or if you are forced to wait for hours for the customer service team to reply to you, it might be a clever idea to swap your provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your sites together with your databases from your present provider to your new provider. At Real Web Services, we know that this can often be difficult & time–consuming. That’s why we’ll perform all that for you at no cost!Our highly accomplished technical staff members will migrate your website content from your present web hosting provider to us. Our technicians have extensive experience migrating websites and can take care of everything – from a standard WordPress–powered weblog or Joomla^™ CMS–based site, to a very elaborate, custom–made application.

A: While we cannot give you an exact time frame, because there are lots of factors, among them the size of the web files and databases, the physical location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your website and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll do our very best to transfer your website within 48 hours, and in certain cases – within 24 hours (in case the website content is not very large).

A: Yes. We will require the name of the web site that you’d like us to move. We’ll also require a means to log into your present web hosting account so that we can get the content associated with your web site.

A: Before we can start the transfer of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to disclose basically the same information you have provided to your current web host. We’ve also got a very strict Privacy Policy, which specifies how sensitive data is dealt with.

A: Your site will continue to work exactly like it did before with your former hosting provider. Once we have finished the migration, your site will be configured to work on our web hosting platform and we’ll ask you to preview it. If it is working properly, all you will have to do is edit the name server records pertaining to your domain. Your website will be transferred to us with no downtime.

A: Nah. Aside from your login details for the Control Panel, we don’t require anything. We’ll never touch base with your web hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the migration either.

A: We can transfer your web site from any hosting provider or any Linux–powered hosting platform on condition that we can get access to the Control Panel and there is FTP access available.The only websites that we cannot migrate are those based on closed–source software applications like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
